Wireless Charging for Kitchen Countertops

Installing a charging station for kitchen counters is now safer and easier thanks to the UTS-2 invisible countertop wireless charger. Our chargers are secured with double sided tape to any non-metallic kitchen surfaces and transmit power through the material to your phone to enable cordless charging.

For universal compatibility with all phones and the best charging performance we advise installing our chargers at a thickness between 8-12mm (0.31″-0.47″).

Thicker countertops like 2cm Quartz and Granite surfaces will require your surface to be routed to 12mm (0.47") but your fabricator.

Although UTS-2 is easy to install - we recommend passing our details over to your fabricator / contractor / kitchen retailer for us to onboard to ensure the surface and installation are prepared properly (if thicker than 12mm (0.47") so you can enjoy wireless charging through your quartz countertop in no time.

High traffic areas like the kitchen island and seated bar tops are great places to install your wireless charger as these areas often used for work and socialising.

If your kitchen is more limited in space, we recommend in the corners away from heat sources and work areas so your devices can be close but not in the way.

Absolutely! Countertop wireless chargers like the UTS-2 are designed to be safe and efficient. They are compatible with all non-metallic countertops and have been tested for performance and safety by leading surface manufacturers for both temperature and strength.

Previous charging stations for countertops required being installed at a 3-5mm thickness to work making it both risky and difficult for fabricators to install, in many cases voiding the countertop manufacturer warranties due to the amount of material being routed out. Kew Labs has worked directly with the world's leading surface countertop brands to test and and approve our specification and technology so you can install with confidence and safety.

UT2-2 can be series connected using USB-C power hubs. Kew Labs officially recommend Satechi 4 and 6 port hubs to connect multiple chargers together.

USB-C cables can be extended up to 4.5m (~15ft) and reduced to 1m (~3ft) for wiring a multi-charger install.
