Our product story
Kew Labs started as a wireless charging design and development team specializing in the improvement of invisible wireless charging technologies for surfaces.
Our development started in 2018 to improve the poor performance and user experience of invisible wireless chargers in the market. Our breakthrough development to improve the phone to charger communication over greater distances allowed us to drastically improve the hidden wireless charging experience leading to our patented Intelligent Power Communication™ System and development of the UTS-1 invisible wireless charger.
Released in 2021 – the UTS-1 charger changed wireless charging for surfaces and was awarded a CES innovation award of 2021 and name WIRED’s magazine’s best invisible wireless charger 4 years in a row from 2021 to 2024.
Building on the success of UTS-1, Kew Labs has worked with new surface industry partners to develop the new and improved UTS-2 Invisible Wireless Charger that was released in 2024.
